Do you know that kitchen sinks are one of the favorite places of germs and bacteria in our house
? Little did we know that this place harbors many different bacteria more than any other place in our house? The problem is that despite that we do the regular cleaning of our kitchen still we are not so sure that our kitchen is germ free and safe to use. Most of the germs can cause different illnesses like colds or flu and other stomach problems. Methicillin-Resistant-Staphyloccoccu or MRSA, Escherichia coli commonly known as E-Coli, Norovirus and Clostridium difficile are some of the bacteria that may be developed in our kitchen sinks. MRSA can cause serious disease as this normally leads to infections that are so hard to treat. E-Coli normally incubate in the intestines that may lead to severe intestinal illnesses. Gastroenteritis is caused by Norovirus. The least serious bacteria, Clostridium difficile which usually affects infants and younger ones and mostly harbors in the intestines may cause diarrhea. Generally this is not harmless but at times may be severe and fatal because of inflammation and bleeding of colons. While there are plenty of ways to defeat these germs, it's very important not to forget the basics. Always remember that proper hygiene should always be practiced to avoid spreading these germs. Put in your mind that your kitchen sinks should be cleaned properly. Lukewarm and soapy water are the two most important tools to ease out the bacteria that can house in your sinks.
