Did you have a momentary lapse in judgment and do something stupid like kiss another girl or worse
? Has your girlfriend dumped you over it and in spite of being genuinely sorry she wont take you back? Perhaps she wont even talk to you at this point and you are desperate to get her back. So what can you do? What will help you to get her back?Groveling No amount of groveling or pleading is going to help you to get her back. You might think that if you are genuinely sorry and completely put yourself at her mercy that she will forgive you and take you back.
Nothing could be further from the truth. Groveling will only cause your girlfriend to completely lose respect for you. She knows that youre sorry. She might even know that it was just a momentary lapse in judgment but right now she doesnt care. She doesnt want to hear your apologies or how youll never do it again or any of your pleading for her to talk to her about it.
Gifts Right now she doesnt need or want your gifts. Any gift that you might give her is tainted by what you have done. Shes angry with you. She had dumped you and she doesnt want flowers or candy or anything from you.
Talking Your girlfriend doesnt want to talk to you right now. You are going to have to man up and come to grips with this. You need to realize and respect the fact that she needs some time and space to process what has happened. By contacting her constantly or begging and pleading with her to talk this through you are only going to drive her further away.
Women often need time to think things through and be angry. Let her be angry. Let her process what has happened and let her come to her own conclusions. Let her make up her mind about whether or not she wants to forgive you or not. Have some respect for her and give her this time.
Allow the smoke to clear and for emotions to return to a more manageable level for both her and yourself. Soon there will come a time when you can open the lines of communication but for right now give her some time to be angry. When the two of you do discuss what has happened and what she wants be prepared to take a bunch of heat. Take your beating like a man and try not to react.
While you are waiting for the opportunity for the two of you to talk you should think of how you can properly communicate with her and win her heart back. You will need to be logical while being strong and show her that you love her and that you have learned a great lesson thanks to all of this. You genuinely know how much you love her and although you wish that you hadnt hurt her the way that you have, you have found out what life might be like without her and it is not what you want.
If you simply wait for the dust to settle and prepare yourself for the day when you do talk to your girlfriend again it is absolutely possible to get your girlfriend back. After all, if she loved you once the two of you can get past this and get back together again.
