Gold was used in many different styles of sunglasses. It can span from regular driving shades, to beach shades, biking shades. Using gold can bring class and style to an outfit if done properly. However, when overly used this can be extremely tacky. You see this very commonly done in hip hop, though it is more hilarious than it is tacky since it is so obviously done on purpose.

This can nullify any protection that was intended by the sunglasses. All sunglasses will need protection since they are vulnerable to scratches. Protect your sunglasses with a soft case for scratches or a hard case for crush protection.

This small price can make your sunglasses last much longer. Some more expensive sunglasses will have a better layer on top of the coating so the sunglasses are also less likely to scratch.
