Such exercises are squats, bench presses, pullups, deadlifts, and various rows.

Another trick that you can use right away is immediately before and during your workout, I want you to consume a protein shake mixed with simple carbohydrates. The type of protein you should be using is any form of whey protein. The carbohydrate mixture should be simple sugars such as glucose, dextrose or malto dextrin. You ideally want your insulin levels to be raised right before you workout to get as much anabolic effect as possible.

The third tip I want to share with you today is to perform sprint interval training on your off days. I rather you perform intervals as compared to regular jogging is because you will be burning more calories this way and over a longer period of time. You will also develop a nice set of strong, shapely legs that you can show off on the beach or in warm weather.
