Get Rick Quick Before Internet And After Internet

Most people coming on the Internet looking for ways to make money online are not looking get rich quick

. They would just like to make money in an easy way that does not require much work.

It's probably a good thing they're not looking to get rich quick because making money online is going to require work no matter how much money you end up earning.

Here's the important thing today regarding making money online. It is possible to make money and it is possible to get rich, but neither would be very quick in my opinion. You can break down making money online into B.I (before Internet) and A.I (after Internet).

My parents were in Amway 30 years ago. There was a small percentage of people getting rich in network marketing with Amway, Herbalife, Mary Kay, and other mlm programs.

My folks actually developed a full-time income from their Amway business in the town of less than 2000 people. Before the Internet this took a tremendous amount of work to see a small return from. If you stayed with it long enough you actually could make good money or possibly even get rich in network marketing.

Today thanks to the Internet there are people, even like myself, that make money in network marketing. I personally know of many people who have gotten rich doing Internet marketing in various ways.

For example, as an affiliate marketer it costs nothing for you to get started and you can be in profit almost immediately. When I started in 2002 I made money my first month and have continued to make money every month thereafter. That was not the case when I tried other business opportunities offline prior to 2002.

In terms of getting rich quick this is just not going to happen online. You need a certain amount of Internet marketing skills before you're going to move your business forward.

This is where people begin to drop out very quickly. Learning how to choose an niche, build a website, and get traffic to it takes some time and skills. Most people are just not willing to stick with it long enough to ever reach that point.

In Marc Ostrofsky's ecellent book "Get Rich Click" he goes through many of the best ways to make money online. He goes into detail on everything from the ways to make money to how to get website traffic, and what the future holds for Internet marketing.

It's an extremely motivating book that I have read several times and continue to refer back to almost every day. He lays out example after example of people who have built profitable Internet businesses and replace their current business or career.

Most of these people would not be successful today if it weren't for the Internet. However, they all have paid their dues to get to the level they are at now.

It was virtually impossible to get rich quick before the Internet. Now that Internet marketing is in full swing anyone can make good money. The possibility of getting rich is within the grasp of anyone willing to learn Internet marketing skills and put them into practice.
