Increasing number of crows have been a big problem to deal with in entire Australia

, specially the ravens. Scientifically the name crow is derived from the Latin corvus meaning "raven" species name is the Common Raven (Corvus corax), there are also other types like the Carrion Crow, the Hooded Crow, the Rook and the Jackdaw. These species are distributed in different geographical areas and adapt accordingly. Australia has five (possibly six) species of crow that are almost identical in appearance. However when the caw-caw goes right over your head youd never want to find out what he exact species is!There are various methods that have been implemented form time to time to drive these crying and disgusting creatures away. These include using a crow scares which is the most traditionally used method. It is a very widely used b farmers where a human figure (or mannequin) typically dressed in old clothes is placed in fields. It is meant to discourage birds such as crows or sparrows from disturbing and feeding on crops giving them the false notion that there is actually a man standing there, hence scaring them away.There are also a lot of other methods other than the crow scares that have been used to drive away the crows. These include using gases, firing air guns, burning some leaves thatll cause irritation to the eyes and skin of these birds etc. Using Crow traps is also one such way. There are different traps of different sizes available based on the usage scale small or large! These are almost similar to traps that are designed for mice and other creatures. The one funny thing about such devices is that I completely do not understand what to do after catching them, killing them is out of question for people like me. Drving them away is a preferable option most of the times.One such away would be driving them away, using something as efficient as scientifically designed crow drive away devices. They are simple and very effective means that help drive away loud, pesky crows quickly and easily. Such devices, (usually available these days in the form of CDs) emits special sounds that are threatening to Crows. They are also different sound wave frequencies that are irritating to them and deterring them away, which according to me is the most humane and least efforts requiring methid to scare the ravens away. These CDs have been time and again proven out to work effectively in driving these aves away permanently.I picked up mine only when they gave me an assurance to offer my money back in 30 days if the entire process was unsuccessful. Through research it was discovered that this was something that would not dwindle the crow population but deal with the situation in a more humane and non-threatening way to drive them away!
