Get Unstuck With Acupuncture
Do you feel overwhelmed and unsupported? Do stress, depression and anxiety prevent you from living your life to the fullest?
Acupuncture can help turn the switch and get you out there.
At some time in your life you will feel stuck - I see it more and more everyday - and particularly with women during their 30s to 40s or men typically 50s to 60s who are overworked and under tremendous stress. Sometimes, this "Oh I don't feel so good feeling" happens slowly. Ask yourself how many days out of the month you feel poorly, is that number low or high? If you said most of the days are bad, it's time for a change. Acupuncture may be just thing to "flip the switch" and get you to living your life to the fullest. But why does this happen?
Stress. Too much stress can lead to insomnia, high blood pressure, heart disease, headaches, depression, body aches and pain....the list goes on. Stress makes us sick. Acupuncture can help relieve stressed out feelings. Stress affects the balance of qi (or energy) in the body. Acupuncture works to balance your energy; giving you a sense of well being.
Fatigue. If you lack of vital force "Qi" and you will end up with fatigue. Why? Stress, diet, sleep and many other factors can zap energy. Acupuncture and Chinese herbs can help boost your body's natural energy and vitality.
Hormones. Hormone levels in both men and women start to change in our 30s, 40s and beyond. Our bodies are aging. Remember when you could stay out all night, go to work, rinse and repeat while now work is all about you can handle in a day? Women may notice changes in their menstrual cycles, skin changes, and libido to name a few. It can not only affect your mood but your motivation to carry on daily tasks. Acupuncture helps balance your entire body. It releases naturally occurring hormones and chemicals from your own body to give you perfect body, mind and spirit.
Mind over matter. The mind is a powerful thing, and it likes to play games with us. As a child you might have had no fear about skateboarding down a hill, but now getting in the car sets you into a panic attack with sweating hands and a fast beating heart. In Chinese Medicine, we refer to the mind as our Shen. We can see the Shen in our eyes. Is it clear, is it not? Yes, the eyes are truly not only the window to the world, but our psyche. Acupuncture calms the mind and can actually flip switches in a positive way to help you cope with stressful and anxious situations.
Once you get past these barriers, motivation can return and you will be able to live the life you always wanted.
