, like WalMart are opening up their black Friday sales a little bit early this year. This can hopefully help some stores with their sales and give them a leg up on the holiday season.
WalMart is currently advertising a Magnavox NB500MG1F Bonus View Blu-ray Player for only $78 to get the crowds rolling in during the holiday season. This is a great deal, but we also do want to keep in mind that last year the same blu-ray was going for $128 dollars so the price drop may be a cry for help as well.
Many frugal shoppers will drop a jaw when they see the $78 blu-ray player being advertised at WalMart but you also need to watch out because having expensive discs on a cheaper player may prove to not be so great. You might find that the compatibility isn't as good and end up having to buy a more expensive one in addition which defeats the purpose of buying a cheaper one in the first place to save a little bit of money.
We aren't saying that this blu-ray isn't worth buying. It is a great deal and now you know about WalMarts sales, but just don't commit to buying anything before you know what else is out there. Sometimes you end up saving money by spending a little more for a higher quality in the long run. You just need to decide what is important to you.
