The reason most new gardens fail is because the gardeners in charge of them either forget about their schedules or ignore the amount of work that needs to be done to keep their gardens healthy.

Start small. You might be dreaming of having your entire yard filled with blooming and blossoming plants. If you've never grown your own garden before, you'll want to start with a plant or two. This way you won't have to worry about putting in a whole bunch of effort into something that might turn out to not interest you very much. Gardening takes time, patience and commitment.
