The first thing you need to do is let your ex go. At this point they want space, they are probably angry or disappointed with you and if you are in their face constantly trying to talk to them it will only strengthen their resolve to move on.

But if you are not in the picture they get a chance to calm down, they start remembering the good times. This approach also helps because it is the complete opposite of what they expected. They are going to start thinking about you in a more positive way. Have patience.
