This would send the wrong signals to him and make it even more difficult for you to penetrate him or get his attention.

However, you should ensure that he has enough space to himself first before any other thing. Try not to be a pest or a nag, remember that guys love freedom, and they value their space; even up to the married once. So, endeavour to give him that by making less contact and even making yourself less available so he would be able to value your presence whenever you are around. Your ex space is important to him as this would give him enough time to

get over the breakup, and giving you a great opportunity to get back to him again.
