Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (BOM is located within the Mumbai city's municipal limits. There are several direct flights from Mumbai to Chennai provided by airliners such as Air India Express, Go Air, Spicejet, Indigo and JetKonnect. It takes only two hours to reach Chennai from Mumbai by a direct flight. Chennai International Airport is situated on the Grand Southern Trunk Road (NH 45) and is also served by Tirusulam railway station on the Suburban railway network.
