It is often very hard to end a relationship. We feel comfortable when we are with someone that we have known for a very long time. No one wants to go through the hassle of being alone and having to start all over again. Unfortunately, when you are in an unhealthy relationship, you need to find the strength to end it and walk away. No good will come from you being in a relationship that you are not happy in.

Your friends and family often know that the person that you are with is just not the right person for you. It is easy to judge a relationship when you are on the outside looking in. Unfortunately, we do not like to hear criticism about the one that we love. We want to believe that everything is okay and that if we give it time if there is something wrong, it will work itself out.

Once we remove ourselves from the situation that we are in, we sit back and we tend to think about the course of the relationship and we realize that we were delusional to even begin to think that the bad situation was going to get any better, if anything we realize that it only got worse.

The first thing that you need to do when you're in a bad lesbian relationship is to try and communicate with the other person that the relationship is not healthy not only for you but for them as well. Let them know that you care about them that you want the relationship to work, however if things do not change you will have to be moving on. Once you explain to the other person how you are feeling, if they truly love you should agree to work out whatever the problem is.


Now let us be honest, there are some problems that you are just not able to work out and you will need to move on. If you are dealing with a situation where someone is cheating on you on a constant basis, you should not stay in that situation, you need to be gone. That situation will only get worse in the person is more than likely thinking that you are accepting of the situation and therefore they do not need to have to change their behavior. Another example of a relationship that you do not need to try and work out is one in which it is abusive.

An abusive relationship is never good for either party, especially if you are the one that is being abused. You do not want to find yourself in a situation where the abuser eventually takes your life. Please exit the relationship as quickly as possible.

If you have children and you are in a bad relationship, and you really need to consider leaving. Children do not need to be around two people who are not healthy for each other. You do not want him to grow up thinking that it is okay for them to be unhealthy relationships. Children tend to do what they see the grown-ups in their lives do.


You need to realize that life is too short to stay in a situation where you are not happy. You also need to realize that while you are wasting your time with someone in a non-healthy situation, you may be missing out on the opportunity to meet someone who will bring you the most happiness that you have ever had in your lifetime. Do not be afraid to let that person go, they are only holding you back.

If you are staying with that individual because you are afraid that you will not be able to make on your own, then you need to speak with family and friends and let them know about the situation if they are not already aware of it. Get them to help out in your time of need and possibly let you stay with them. Once you're out of your current situation, you will begin to be able to plan your next course of action.

People who are in a relationship should fill content with their situation. It is not to say that you will be happy 100% of the time while in the relationship, however the relationship should bring you more joy then pain.
