Getting Ready for the Italian Examinations AIL

On August 23rd, the Scuola Leonardo da Vinci centers will start the preparatory courses for every level of examination of the Italian Language Academy (AIL).

The Scuola Leonardo da Vinci is present in four Italian cities: Florence, Rome, Siena and Milan, the most beautiful Italian cities, rich in monuments and architectural masterpieces.

The long experience and professionalism of teachers and staff make the Scuola Leonardo da Vinci one of the most prestigious Italian language schools in Italy.

Italian language courses are offered at all levels, individual and group courses, but also painting, drawing, sculpture, restoration, cooking, wine, art history and fashion.

The Scuola Leonardo da Vinci centers are also authorized AIL examination centers and the next session will take place on September, 17th.

The Italian Academy of Language (AIL) is an association of schools, institutions and experts, in the field of teaching Italian to foreigners and certification. AIL central office is in Florence.

The AIL has created multi-level exams to certify the actual knowledge of candidates. To obtain the Diploma of Italian Language for all levels is necessary to pass an exam consisting of five parts, with tests in Listening, Reading Comprehension, Analysis of Structures of Communication, Writing and Speaking.

These examinations are held two or four times a year, on the same day at the various authorized examination centers worldwide. Texts are unique and corrections and final evaluations are held in Florence, to guarantee uniformity of evaluation.

These certificates can be useful to anyone wishing to find a job where Italian as a foreign language is requested, to those who want to have their competence certified only for personal satisfaction or to those who simply wish to enrich their Curriculum Vitae.
