Getting Rich With Low Level Crafting Materials

Nothing is harder than trying to make money at the lower levels. It may be hard to believe, but some people will tell you that it is possible to make millions of gold at level 1. These people aren't lying, but the headlines are not telling the full truth either. The reality is that you will need some specialized knowledge to pull off a feat like that. This article will help the average player to fix their money issues at these low levels.

Before we go too far you are going to have to make some sacrifices. Nothing I am going to ask you to do is permanent, don't worry there. We are going to focus on things to help in the short term that will also help us in the long term.

The first thing you are going to do is chose two gathering professions. Just to clarify, by gathering profession I mean skinning, herbalism, and mining. Enchanting can be considered a gathering profession as well, but you will end up spending money or using your materials to level it up making it unsuitable for our needs. Which two you pick is up to you, although I would personally choose skinning as one of the options.

The main reason for this is the fact that low level crafting materials tend to sell well in the auction house for those who do not wish to farm materials to level a new profession. They are more than happy to spend a little extra money to save the time. This gives low level characters, such as yourself, a perfect market to play with.

Recently Blizzard added in a feature that gives you XP for gathering the materials as well. Skinning is one that doesn't simply because you are getting XP on the kill typically. Mining and Herbalism nodes give you a decent chunk of XP, however. It is entirely possible to level by doing nothing more than gathering herbs and ore.

Some people may be put off by not choosing a crafting profession, but in most cases you can level at a pace that simply outpaces your ability to keep your crafting skill up. Additionally most of the quest rewards you will get along the way will do enough to keep your performance up to snuff.

The money you get for this will obviously vary by server, but overall it is a very solid means to get gold. When you add in the benefit of getting XP for gathering it becomes a no brainer.
