If you burn candles in your home then you have probably moved them from one location to another in your home. We all know that accidents happen. Because of this, you may want to know how to get wax out of your carpet. This is necessary if you want to keep your floors looking nice. So, the next time you are dealing with spilled wax on the carpet, do not worry just try the following steps.
Get a brown paper bag and cut it open. Make sure that you are not using a bag that has any ink on it. You need a plan paper bag.
Once you have this cut open you will want to lay it over the wax on the floor.
Turn an iron on medium heat and place it on the bag. Iron over the wax on the paper bag for approximately 30 seconds and then remove the iron.
Pick the bag up and find the wax that was removed by this process.
Move the bag to a new location and then repeat the process so that you can get the rest of the wax out of the carpet.
Make you try to remove the wax with this process as quickly as possible. The long the wax remains in you carpet the more difficult it will be to remove. You can try this trick on fabric and on couches as well. You will find that this technique works well and it does not take very much time at all. As long as you have an iron and a paper bag you will be good to go. Just make sure that you do not let the iron get too hot or that you allow the iron to set on the carpet for too long. If you place the iron on the carpet for a long period of time you can burn the carpet.
