Getting Your Ex Back - Right way and wrong way

Things aren't going that great. You just had a break up. Not fun. For you, the love is still there and you want your now former lover back! Depending on your level of desperation, you've probably already tried reconciling with your ex. That didn't work!Hopefully you didn't resort to any of the following tactics!Drunk dialing your ex.
Mad texting your ex.
Flooding the email box of your ex.
Doing any of the following is not likely to be effective. Worse, you will have annoyed your former partner!
How to get your ex to come back.
Are you ready to show your ex that you are OK without her? I don't mean this in a prideful sort of way. This isn't trying to show that you are somehow now better off without her! No way! No ego! In fact, your best bet of getting your lover back is by being super humble. What I mean is this: Have you realized that you are not going to die if your ex doesn't take you back? Because you won't die. You are taking a break from this relationship for a while. Use this time to reflect and live your life a little differently.
Change things up, try some new things in your life. Yeah, bring out your list of to-do's in life and do 'em. Go climb that big mountain. The point is to try to get your mind off of the intense break up and loss of your relationship. It will be important to her to see that your confidence is still high and that you are still yourself and making the most of your life.
Does your ex want you back?
So you still want to get back together with your ex. Try to meet with her over coffee. Casual stuff, nothing intense. No rehashing of arguments. Just have fun. Laugh! Show her that you've been taking care of yourself! Make sure this is a good time, say goodbye, then give it a week or so.
If she doesn't call you in that week, then you want to call her again. Go out for some crazy stuff. Do something you haven't done before. Go hike in the forest, go fishing, go to art galleries. Something unusual and super fun! See if she seems to be interested in spending time with you. Try to understand whether or not there seem to be the same problems as before, and if there is a better chance of fixing them. Take it slow and see if things get brighter!
