Score is important for all types of sport

As in any sport, the score is what matters. Of course it is thrilling to watch the shot of the game, the dunk of the week or play of the season but as any random spectator will ask "What's the score?" This is universal in any sport and since scores change very quickly they need to be up to date and reported as it happens.

Some sports take longer for the scores to change like Tennis, Soccer, Golf and Rugby because the thrill is in the tension made by expectations of a scoring shot and how the crowd believes afterwards how they could ever have doubted or how ever could that miss happen? Regardless the score will win out in the end.

Even sporting events like the Formula One (F1) races and Grand Prix are score based so sometimes it doesn't matter if your favorite driver comes in first at the event you are watching but that he comes in first in the Prix standing. The same goes for other motorsports like Rally racing.
