Getting website traffic – What's the key to return visitors?
When it comes to getting website traffic there are a few things you need to understand and they both deal with content
. The first thing that is very important to understand is that you can't just bad or uninformative articles and expect your readers to keep coming back. You may get a lot of traffic from a large quantity of articles but if you don't spend the time making those articles pop and give the reader what they want they will just go elsewhere and they will remember that.
In order to get return traffic everything comes down to your content. No matter what you are writing about and how good your articles are they have to be informative but most importantly you need to keep updating your website. The worst thing you can do with your website is not write an article for it at least once a week. I try to always write one new article for each one of my websites at least once a week and sometimes once per day. The greatest advantage of writing a lot of great articles is that you get more pages indexed in google and the other search engines and also that there is more of a chance that readers will land on one of your pages when searching the internet.
One thing you need to always remember when it comes to getting traffic is that it doesn't all come at once and it needs to be slowly built. Traffic that comes overnight will disappear overnight just as quickly.
