out for many a celeb popstar - Kylie, Peter Andre, JSL and Saturdays duo Marvin and Rochelle to name just a few. Even Dame Judi Dench loved the show saying I was absolutely enchanted by the magic of Ghost. Simply sensational. Stupendous!.

The story of Ghost The Musical began back in 1990. Nominated for an Academy Award for Best Film in 1990, Ghost The Musical became a blockbuster hit and an instant classic, winning numerous awards worldwide. The film starred Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore, Tony Goldwyn and Whoopi Goldberg and was directed by Jerry Zucker. Bruce Joel Rubins script won an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay and Whoopi Goldberg won the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her portrayal of psychic Oda Mae Brown.

Now Bruce Joel Rubin has adapted his film script to a West End show that is set to become another classic on the stage with huge critical and commerical success. The show has music from Dave Stuart of Eurythmics fame. It has been my honor to be a part of the team given the opportunity to create a musical around this powerful love story, composer Dave Stewart said. Imagining a love strong enough to bridge this world and the afterlife is fertile ground on which to build a big, romantic musical. Imagine a love that strong. Its been one of the most amazing experiences of my career. He has collaberated on music and lyrics with six time Grammy Award winner Glen Ballard who worked closely with Michael Jackson.

Celebs and theatre goers from the other side of the pond are going to be able to get to see the show as the producers have now announced a Broadway opening from March 2012. Theu have yet to announce the US cast.
