Gifts For Men On Valentine's Day

Melt your man's heart with these Valentine gift ideas

It's an age old dilemma: what to buy your man for Valentine's Day. It's the day that most women (unless single) look forward to whereas most men either forget or dread.

Have a go at luring your man into loving Valentine's Day as much as you do with these gift ideas. I'm not promising miracles, but hopefully it will gently move him in the right direction.

Food

The first and blatantly obvious gift is food. We all know the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. So cooking up an array of mouth watering treats for your loved one could be the way forward. On the other hand, if your cooking skills are somewhat dubious, perhaps a box of chocolates could work. If not, try

Technology

Boys love their toys. Gadgets, gizmos, games and the like are the perfect gift on Valentine's Day. The latest PS3 game, or that man-size flat screen TV he's been lusting over will definitely get him to show you his love on Valentine's Day. Make sure you find the latest version though. Getting your guy an old version will not go down well. Not at all. Not only will it show him that you don't have a clue (and between you and me, most of us don't), but he'll also miss out on looking like the big shot in front of the lads. Bad move.

Sport

If your man is a sports fanatic (on or off the field) why not melt his heart with a ticket to go and see his favourite team, or invest in Sky Sports (at your own risk as you may not see him as often as you'd like). However, a little investigatory work could go a long way so that you're not entirely winging it. After all, you wouldn't want to buy tickets for the opposing team, would you?

Love

Love can come in different forms, especially on Valentine's Day. But I think we all know the sort of love to which I am referring. Why not make a book of love vouchers full of tokens which he can redeem anytime, anywhere. Or if all else fails, a night of pure seduction should prove particularly popular.

The other love in his life

Unfortunately, your man has another love in his life apart from you. It is his beloved car, of course. The latest GPS system or investing in some bad boy tyres or alloys will be a guaranteed winner, but remember to do your research first. Turning up with the wrong size wheels really wouldn't be cool.
