Many bookstores have reading clubs that arrange for authors to visit and give readings, so find out what is happening at the store and reserve a place for your bookworm buddy at the next event.

Technology has advanced a lot in this area and electronic book readers, such as the Kindle, Nook and Ipad, are reasonably priced. If it is a little out of your budget why not club together with family. If you know that the bookworm is going to receive an e-reader, perhaps you can buy a download of one of there favorite books to start their e-book collection, many of the classics are free to download, too!
