Whether we admit it or not, guys in general love getting food and clothes as gifts

. Usually, they would prefer receiving food items that they could sure with everyone else. In terms of clothing and accessories, they prefer to get something they could use for special occasions.

Obviously, it is not that easy to know whether a guy would love to get food or clothes more. However, you can easily figure that out if you are a good gift giver.

A very good gift giver will never settle with anything less because he or she would want to make the recipient happy. In some cases, the giver only gives out gifts just to ensure that the recipient will do the same thing in return. Usually, this kind of person would not really care whether what type of gifts he or she gets for the other person.

There aren't too many forms of clothes and accessories to choose from. The most common types of accessories given out as gifts are watches, cufflinks and neckties. Men would surely be able to use a nice wristwatch on a daily basis. Who would not want to have a wristwatch anyway?

Men in general would also value receiving cufflinks especially if they are personalized. It only goes to show that the giver really took time and effort to impress the recipient. For silky neckties, it would be better if you could have the recipient's initials monogrammed at the back part of it. This is just to show the recipient how much you value him as a friend.

Now in terms of foods, you can choose from a wide range of products. You can give him a subscription to the beer of the month delivered right to his doorstep. For guys who love the outdoors, a barbeque kit would mean a lot.

Guarantee it includes the grill and the other accessories that should come with it. You can also have a steak party for him. Nothing says "thank you" like a big and juicy slab of steak.

You might also want to invite the other guys and have them bring some food and drinks for everyone. Speaking of steak, a nice steak brander with your buddy's initials on it would be a great gift. This is a very nice gift for a chef who spends a lot of time grilling steaks.

That way, people will know which chef to thank for the wonderful steaks that they are feasting on. Of course, make sure that you give the appropriate gifts to the right person to avoid it from going to waste.
