You dont have to worry about equipment and other stuff for scuba diving as there are a lot of scuba diving shops around that also offer diving courses.
If you want to experience the beach, this is also a perfect place as it has been said that the beaches here are way better than those that you can find in south Bali. The beach in front of Taman Salini and Taman Sari hotel are among the best ones that you can find.
You can also visit a newly-restored temple in Bali, the Pura Tirta Pulaki. Behind the complex is a mountain wall that accentuates the mystical appearance and nature of the temple. However, dont be too carried away or else the naughty monkeys will carry away your stuff like water bottles and sunglasses. If you want to explore nature, go for a trekking tour at National Park West Bali.
You can also find quite a number of restaurants in Pamuteran Bali. Your options include eating at the hotels restaurant or exploring the smaller ones found along your way to the different sites of the island. There is a nice restaurant that is located near the beach owned by Adi Assri Resort. There is also the restaurant of Pondok Sari which has Javanese furniture placed on the beach just right outside the hotel. But if you want a change in the flavors of your food, you may check out Taman Salini which is a Greek restaurant.
