Goa is a small state of the India and it has only two district North Goa and south Goa. Goa state one side long boundaries meet with Arabic sea. But two side state boundaries meet with Karnataka and Maharashtra states. Old sacred churches, temples, natural beaches, wildlife sanctuaries are main tourism places in this state.

Gos state has many cities; most famous cities are Panaji, Margao, Mapusa, Ponda, old Goa and Vasco Da Gama. These cities are centre of tourism, education and commercial main point of Goa state.

Panaji: Panaji city is political capital of Goa state and location north Goa district. City main attractions are Our Lady church, Bird Sanctuary, Bambolim, Miramar, Dona Paula (beaches), Science Center, National Institute of Oceanography,

Margao: Margao city is a commercial-cultural capital of Goa state and located in south Goa district. City main tourism places are city hall, sport Stadium, Monte Hill, Colva Beach and holy church etc.

Mapusa: Mapusa town is located in north district and 13km far from state capital panaji on national highway no. 17. Mapusa is main economy land during tourism season for necessary equipments.

Ponda: Ponda city location is north Goa district and 28km far from Panaji city. City main tourism attractions are Mahavir sanctuary, Bondla sanctuary, Dudhsagar Waterfalls, polem, Colva and Benaulim bech.

Vasco Da Gama: Vasco de Gama city is located in south Goa district, 5km far from dabolim airport and this largest populated city in state. City was established in 1543.

Old Goa: this city was Portuguese political capital during 1510 to 1961. Now this is listed in UNESCO heritage site for its old and sacred churches.

Goa state is land of tourism because this has European style mix culture and thirty percent population is Christians. Goa Resorts and hotels are available in every category. Hotel accommodations and resorts are also located near of tourism destinations as beaches, wildlife sanctuaries and other destinations.
