Being with one person for a man sounds like ordering a meal instead of an all-you-can-eat buffet when he's starving. At one point in a man's life, they feel like having fun and not getting their hearts involved until it happens with a woman who changes their minds. To be the girl that shows him the way, you need to know where you're going.

Going beyond the realm of casual dating, being one of a few or just being in it for fun is fine in your twenties but as we near thirty or older, priorities change. We decide on stability, family, love, and something beyond a revolving door. Men reach this point too but it may take longer and doesn't happen as easily. The one thing women must always remember is men need more than a feeling in their stomach before going beyond the realm of casual dating to consider commitment.

Going from woman to woman is fun and women do the same until we find a good man but we break free from the cycle much sooner. For a man to realize what is already in front of him, that takes a progressive change. To go beyond the realm of casual dating, he has to see you aren't a woman he call upon anytime for sex or whatever; you have a life. Don't answer all his calls or return them right away, make time for friends and family, and call him later or the next day. Let him miss you to help him see what it's like to lose you to someone else or see you walk away.

When you aren't in a committed relationship, it is fine to date a couple men to see who has what you want. Don't sleep with any of them right now or stop because this mission is solely for finding the one that wants your heart most above all else. He may not like you being with someone else but that taste of his own medicine can help him see you won't stick around forever unless he makes the effort or you will see he is a bum and is better off without you. Going beyond the realm of casual dating isn't always cut and dry but sometimes you have to be proactive in order for him to be.
