There will be many reasons why you are looking for a date, divorce,finished your current relationship,becoming a widow,out of the dating game for a long time etc etc.

Whatever the reasons you need to ask yourself why? and am I ready for another relationship, Unless you have been on your own forever you have been married or had a relationship before and hopefully there were some good times but inevitably there will have been some bad ones.

With the bad times,do you still think about these,are they still painful, do certain circumstances bring these memories back.If you can answer yes to any of these then you haven't fore given yourself or the other person for what happened.

There are no winners and losers in the breakdown of any type of relationship there will always be some level of bad feeling,non of us are saints where deep emotions are involved.

Its how we deal with our feelings after the fallout from a break up that determines how successful our next relationship will be.Here is a checklist to help you decide if you are ready to play the dating game again.

1) How long has it been since your last relationship,give yourself enough time to recover - you are not ready.

2) Are you feeling low mentally or physically - then your not ready.

3) Still thinking a lot about the other person,reliving your life together - then your not ready.

4) The other person in the break up is still calling you or seeing you - then you are not ready.

5) Wanting to quickly enter another relationship - then you are not ready.

6) You think that you will never be able to meet anyone special again - then you are not ready.

7) Still blaming the other person for what happened - then you are not ready.

8) Have had several relationships that ended in failure - then you are not ready until you find the reason.

9) There is another person involved in the breakdown and they are still around - then you are not ready.

10) There are children involved and they are upset - then you are definitely not ready.

The real message here is that unless you are in control of your emotions from other relationships then do not enter into another because it will be inevitable that your new one will effected.

That will be devastating for the both of you and will inevitably lead to a break up again, Make sure you are emotionally completely ready for a new partner and your success percentage will be much higher.
