El Mar Menor has a tiny strip known as La Manga. You can find it on the Costa Calida in Spain, a region very popular with tourists. When you taste its water, you will see that it is very salty; the salt, together with the Black Mud, forms a perfect therapeutic combination. La Manga and Mar Menor have another big advantage: the fact that the region enjoys 315 days of sun every year makes it very attractive to those who practice athletics. The water of El Mar Menor is also great for something else: all sorts of water sports. Tourists find in La Manga the very warm and welcoming inhabitants, as La Manga is not just a holiday resort, but also a small and coquette town where the locals have been struggling to keep the traditions alive. The Phoenicians were the ones who transformed it into a holiday resort by building summer homes in La Manga.

People love to come into contact with the surrounding nature by cycling. Bicycles are everywhere in this resort and even guided tours are available for those who love to exercise and to admire the landscapes.
