This article is part of a series of articles that give free golf tips. This article in particular details 3 important golf tips to help you get a better golf game. These 3 tips are to make sure you use clean clubs, use an alignment aid, and to read the greens properly.
The first tip is to use clean clubs. A clean club will move grass and other debris out of the way so you can hit your ball cleanly. When this happens you will get the proper amount of spin from the ball. The way to clean the club is to use a wet towel or a brush. The towel will get rid of all the excess dirt in the grooves of the club. A brush will get the hard dirt that doesn't seem to come out with the towel.
The second tip is to use an alignment aid. This alignment aid can be anything that helps you find something to aim at. I always like to use trees, bushes, or anything else in the fairway. Finding an aiming spot will help you diagnose your problems. When the ball doesn't go to your spot, you can fix your swing to make the proper adjustments. It will also help your confidence when you are able to drill it exactly where you want it.
The third tip deals with reading the green for your putting. The main thing to decide is whether your putt is going uphill or downhill. An uphill put will break more and roll slower. A downhill putt will break less and roll faster. If you are able to read which direction your ball will break, you will be better able to pick the proper aiming spot and make the putt.
Hopefully these 3 golfing tips will help you improve your scores. A lot of my other articles also give free tips. Be sure to check them out!
