Keep smiling, try to look your best for your spouse by taking care of yourself. Talk in a kind way, admit you're wrong if you are. Create the time you need to focus on your relationship and put the work into it that's necessary. Share what you feel, keep the physical touch happening. Show respect with your actions and words, continue to work on all your issues together.

Here are some things to try to not do in your marriage so it maintains it's vigor. Don't talk about problems in your marriage with other people, and don't talk negatively about your spouse. Spending time with the opposite sex might be bad. Don't nag, and don't have to win every conversation, it's not a competition there are other ways to do things. Not every moment has to be spent together, your spouse needs time with same sex friends and they have interests that are not similar to yours, that's ok. Don't interrupt or talk over your spouse, and don't withhold sex as a punishment of some sort.

As with every relationship we experience there will be times to speak up and times to hold our tongues. Acting lovingly towards your spouse and treating them with respect will offer you the best chance at working past your marriage problems and creating a better life together.
