Good Mothers Day Gifts

Coming up with good Mothers Day gifts can be a serious hardship for those of us who are just not that creatively inclined

. I know what youre thinking; we all have our strong suits and we should be capable enough to come up with something special for the celebration of our mothers. Trust me; Ive gone through all of the things in my head I could potentially have to offer up a good gift idea for mom. I even turned to Google in search of things I might be good at but that Ive maybe forgotten or havent considered yet. But, be careful, because we dont want to burn out our little noodles at a time when mom wants us to put in quality time with her. She will not be happy if our brains have been fried right as shes got the opportunity to tell us all about her recent DIY projects around the house. Mothers Day is a specific day where we cannot run away from those conversations. So, lets be reasonable here, some of us just dont know how to:

Cook a nice meal that hasnt totally been burnt beyond recognition or taste.

Sculpt the perfect piece of pottery for moms mantel.

Give her and oil change so that she doesnt have to ride into the dealership herself.

Craft a beautiful poem or sonnet about the excellence that is her motherhood.

Carry a melodic tune so that you can partake in the greatest duet with a mom (specifically yours) known to mankind.

Where do we turn, then, when weve swallowed our pride and have accepted our limited capabilities, but still want to show our mother the appreciation she deserves and in an outstanding way? I guess you could hire her a personal master chef for the day in lieu of your horrible cooking skills. Maybe if you had been smarter, you would have signed up for pottery courses months in advance so that you could have perfected your skills and earned that hot spot on moms mantel, but its too late now, silly! You could just scour for an oil change coupon to give her, though youd make your life harder by then having to justify why you arent as cheap as presenting that coupon to her makes you look. Or, you could merely regurgitate a poem you found through Google search, but you have to be careful about whether or not to take credit for that poem, because obviously you and your mother both know your capabilities (and which ones you dont have). Thats why you are here, reading this blog entry. Lastly, enlisting Naomi and Wynonna Judd for vocal and duet lessons might be an option. Or not! Thats just ridiculous. With just about a month until Mothers day, we all need to think realistically. We need to think affordable yet dynamic. Lets think exciting, unique, and delicious. How about thinking Edible Arrangements!? They encompass all of those things and make it easy to get it right. You can choose from a number of product selections with exquisite, sweet and juicy fruits. And by personalizing the arrangement you can lend a hand in making a good Mothers Day gift transform into a great one. Let them step up where you cant. Dont let your pride get the best of you, the day is supposed to be about your mother!
