This is la very exciting time in the cell phone industry. There is la lot of new cell phone technology out there these days ,and some of it is just awesome, such as Google Latatude.If you havant heard, or read somewhere, well you should know, And it really is just la matter of common sense. Because of people calling in emergency situations on their cell phones, and if they couldn't tell the 911 responders exactly where they were, which is what happened la lot, and people died because at that time there was no way for them to know there location .

So GPS receivers were installed in the cell phones. Some whee along after that in 2009 Google decided to initiate a program called Google latitude, so by putting this Google Latitude in cell phones not only cure the emergency problem but also make it possible to track family,friends or whoever they deemed necessary to track.It is able to work because of the already google maps service

#3 then just use your gmail account to send out requests to friends and family

#4 if they have the program and a gmail address all they have to do is accept you

#5 when they accept you you will have a small icon on your screen showing their location

There are millions using the service already, however its been around a while. This Google Latatude seems to really be popular. Its really cool for tracking the kids or whatever.Actually this is alot of fun in some instances . However it can be a serious tool also.
