The Google Search Virus Redirect is the latest Trojan horse that virus developers had developed. Once you catch this virus, your search will redirect you to suspicious-looking sites that contain malicious codes. When these codes get into your system, the hijackers would be able to control your PC from a remote location. The will be a risk that sensitive information can be stolen from you. For this reason, the innocent-looking virus can eventually turn into a system monster.

One of the things that can be stolen from you is your credit card information. You will just be surprised because you will be billed for big purchases you did not make. Some of your passwords can also be stolen and the hijackers can use them for scamming other people.

I am fond of downloading MP3s from the internet. I would later transfer these songs to my iPhone so I can listen to them anywhere I am. I never thought that downloading music from unknown sites can be very risky. I suspect that my PC got infected because of that.

Since everything seems manageable at first, I did not feel the urge of having it fixed. But then, the problem became more persistent as time goes by that my search feature became completely useless --- as well as my antivirus.
