Great Bikes For 2011

They say if it aint broke...dont fix it, why mess with a winning formula etc etc

. Well, like human life, technology, inventions and of course products evolve year and on year and even old favourites are refined, fine tuned and cleaned up to ensure maximum workability, efficiency and style (because we know how important that is).

With this in mind, our favourite bikes are back in 2011 and some of them have made some changes, some of them have had complete revamps, and some have just been tinkered with a little.

The first one, the Lapierre Spicy 216 is even more streamlined and sleek than before (and no, we didnt know it was possible either). It now boasts a modified riding position where the stem is shorter and the handlebars have been lowered. These slight changes are enough to make the bike even more thrillingly fast and easy to ride through tricky terrain.

Kona has also slightly redesigned their Sutra Road Bike for 2011. It is largely the same as its beautiful, sleek and incredibly durable predecessor and why not? Improvement on sheer perfection is nigh on impossible, however these guys have managed it with the slight tinkering theyve done on the 2011 model. Changes for 2011 include: a better bar, improved seatpost positioning and the addition of a Shimono Crankset and WTB Freedom Rims. This absolute workhorse of a bike hits stores late 2010/early 2011 and is set to be very popular indeed with enthusiasts.

The final bike on our list today is the Cervelo 2011 R3 Frameset. Cervelo has refined its stack and reach idea so that ALL men and women now fit the standard frame. Excellent news! Other changes and additions include BBright optimisation on the frame in with BBright friendly cranks, all designed to make sure the bike has optimum stiffness. The steerer tube has also been changed and more range has been added to it for better balance.

We say these changes are perfect for the 2011 market and will prove extremely popular with you lot out there, feel free to drop us a line to find out about the other important changes made to our other big name bikes.
