Okay listen; here are some tips for your Great Dane puppy training with a clicker. By the way, this dog training tool is really cheap. I bought my shiny red clicker for just $1.95!

(1) Perform a clicker charging exercise before you begin your first training session. This is the best way to introduce your dog to the clicker. Remember to keep your hands by your side while clicking.

(2) Teach your dog touch the target trick'. This is called target stick training. It is essential because once your Great Dane knows how to touch the target stick upon command, you can tell him to go anywhere you want.

(3) You must also learn to click accurately. The idea here is to mark the exact moment your dog performs a desirable behavior with a click, otherwise your dog won't learn properly.
