When you go to the hospital or the doctor's office for an x-ray

The reason that it is heavy is because it is a lead shield. The reason that they put this one you is because they want to protect as much of you from the x-rays as they can.
There are a lot of things that are done in a hospital or at the doctor's office that are not healthy to be exposed to all of the time. However, these things are used as needed and they are fine in that regard. They will do things to make sure that they do not expose their patients more than necessary though. This is where the shield in the x=ray room comes into play.

They like being able to understand the human body and what makes it tick so that they know what to do to make it better. They get a certain satisfaction from being able to help other people get relief from whatever ails them. This is particularly true when there is pain involved.
The study of the human body and how it works is an ongoing study that is constantly finding new things. There are things that we once deemed worked a certain way that increased knowledge has revealed was incorrect. There is no question at this point that as things evolve they are more likely to find more things about the human body that we do not currently know and which will contradict the things that we have been told before. The thing that should be remembered is that this will continue to evolve and that it can have a large impact on how quickly and easily we can recover. It may also be a new cure that is found that will help the medical industry that they once did not know how to treat. There is nothing more satisfying for the people in the medical field than to find a cure for something that was one time uncurable.
