Younger children need some sort of protection nowadays. Many children are left standing at the school bus stop awaiting the bus while parents need to rush off to their place of employment. Many criminals are lurking, watching as children are left to await the bus. Some children are by themselves at bus stops as no other children are requiring it. This is a disaster waiting to happen.

The keychain alarm which I recommend for children, they can actually carry their house keys with them and the alarm will be handy at all times. Pull the small pin and this small wonder packs a lot of sound. For less than 10.00it's well worth the money!
Depending on the physical condition of an elderly person, some forms of self defense weapons might not be an option for them to carry. These personal alarmsare also great for older individuals, they are easy to operate. I also suggest pepper sprays as they too are easy to operate, compact as well and can be carried at all times.
It's unfortunate that we as good citizens should need to carry self defense weapons, but it's better to be safe than sorry. One will never know if and when they may have to use their device. I carry mine faithfully!
