You will need to attach two rows of steel wire between the posts. One wire should run along the bottom of the posts, about three inches off of the ground. The next row will run along the top of the posts. A staple gun can be used to secure the wires.It is advised that when growing grapes on a trellis, the structure has to be constructed first, prior to the actual grape growing or planting.Once you have completed the actual planting, the shoots will start growing. Look for the sturdier shoots and attach them to the trellis with a cloth or rope. Check on the vines and water them regularly. Proper cared will bring about a better harvest.
