Our Moms may teach us many things when it comes to boys, dating and sex, but one thing that may not be on her list of things to discuss is what is ok, and what is not ok when it comes to first dates. And well, the bottom line is, even if she did talk to us when we were young kids, that was many many years ago and dating today is not what it was 15 or even 10 years ago. 1. New grooming habits- Alright, ladies we all know you want to look good on your first date, but this is not the time to experiment with new facial cremes, waxes or makeup. If so you may end up in the ER due to allergic reaction from new cremes, or itching your way through the first date.
2. Wear New shoes- Again this goes with the above mentioned new style. Those new 5 inch heels will make you look great, but you will be crying every step of the way half way through the night. Stick to clothes and shoes you are comfortable in, and are already broken in.
3. Scrap booking habits- Sorry, but the first date is not the best time to break out all of your college made or homemade scrapbooks and show your new date your first steps, first Prom date etc. He may want to get to know you on his own time, through conversation and time, not pictures.
These are all things that many women take for granted, or jump right into.
