Do you like dark chocolate? I just read where eating dark chocolate can help in burning fat
. That dreadful belly fat we all get as we age and trying to think up a way to get rid of it. I don't know how much you should eat a day. I am sure nobody would advise to binge on it, but eating a couple little sections of a large candy bar may be just what we require. You may wait to eat it when you are getting that sweet tooth feeling during the day. Just don't over do it, I am sure it can cause weight gain too. Remember to eat only dark chocolate.
Oatmeal is another very good fat burning food. Not the instant type with all the added ingredients. Don't go in for that type. They overload it with so much stuff to make it delicious. Corn syrup is most likely one of those ingredients. You should prefer the minute type or old fashioned type for the best health benefits. Then you can add some of your own extras so you know exactly what you are eating. You may some chocolate to your oatmeal to make it tastier. You can add some bananas, some type of berries, or just eat it plain. But do not add butter to it.
This fat burning list just keeps growing. I love chocolate, but not in my oatmeal. I am savoring it by eating my couple pieces a day. The only ingredients I prefer to put in my oatmeal are, applesauce, cinnamon and sweetener. Cinnamon is another fat burning belly blaster. For your sweetener , you can add honey, or stevia which is a very nutritious sweetener. I do cheat with my oatmeal though. I use real sugar. A no no, but hey, you can't be honest all the time.
Dieting is considered to be quite boring. It appears that you are eating the same thing day after day. I have added a daily salad to my dinner menu. I have now been eating one for 5 months. The best part is, I am not fed up of it. I eagerly look forward to my daily salad. I mix up the salad dressing a bit, add some cheese to it I like, then tomatoes, and polish it up by adding some shavings off broccoli florets and some croutons. The croutons aren't really the best option to add, but again, I feel like cheating sometimes. Don't choose low fat salad dressing. I used to add the same, till I found how many times there are things they have added to the non fat items out there on the shelves that are destroying my diet. They add sugar, sodium and other things to the non fat or low fat items to impart them with flavor. Perhaps the calories may be low but beware that the item may be leaving you hungrier. Then you tend to overeat and gain weight.
You need to find foods that you can add to your diet permanently. I have made a change in my lifestyle. I am not on a diet anymore. This is the new me and I have no goal set for when my diet ends, only for when I hopefully loose a few more pounds. I weigh daily not to see if I have gained or lost any weight but to keep an eye on how I am faring. If the scale shows a few pounds gain one day, I don't get upset. I am well aware that I am eating to keep my body healthy and that gain isn't going to stay. The next day I could weigh 3 pounds less. Sometimes it depends on how you stand on the scale, when you weigh and even if you have had a bowel movement yet.
Keep up with your new eating habits and you will find that burning fat has never been so easy.
