If you wish to take more passengers in your cart, you require building your own rear cart seat to accommodate more people. Normally, when you purchase a golf cart, it may come with two or more seats with some space on the back for carrying your golfing equipments. If you wish, you can easily add a back seat on your cart with the help of some materials that you can purchase from the home improvement store of your locality.
Installing new seats would be expensive, but you can save a lot when building a rear golf cart seat of your own. You should first measure the front seat's length and breadth and then transfer these measurements on a plywood piece. After cutting the plywood with this measurement using a circular saw, cut a piece of vinyl in such a way that they are 3 inches bigger that the cut plywood piece. This will be required to fold the four sides. You will now require some foam to be attached to the seating. Get a 3 inch of foam cut with a scissors to suit the size of the plywood. In order to paste the form, use some adhesive that can be sprayed on the entire foam. After letting the glue to completely dry, you should carefully lay the cut piece of vinyl on the foam tightly. You should also pull the vinyl around the plywood so that they remain in its place with the staple. You should also provide a rear seat support to it by connecting a square metal pipe for about 2 inches.
