all go wrong so quickly cooking for large numbers may seem daunting but if you plan then you will be fine. You have to decide what type of event it will be and if there is any sort of theme.

Unless you are very experienced, you may be better planning finger food and buffet style food to make everything easier for you.

When entertaining any amount of people you have to be organized and plan well in advance you need to ensure that you know exactly what you are doing and when. Once you know the amount of people that you are catering for then you can begin to decide on the food that you will need to prepare.

If it is a sit down meal then you have to decide on the dinnerware and table decorations. For a less formal event, you need to ensure you have somewhere that is big enough to hold all of the food. You need to plan the menu around your guests and think about what is easy for you to prepare and for your guests to eat.

You also need to consider how much space you have in your kitchen and if you have enough fridge and cooker space. You may have to enlist the help of other people to help you store items before the event. Choosing recipes that are easy to prepare and cook is the answer and anything that can be cooked in bulk in advance is a great choice.

You can make some great finger foods that are perfect and look amazing. You also need to consider if you have enough serving dishes, WMF flatware and glasses and for this occasion, disposable items may be more suited.

You also should ask for help although it may seem a fantastic idea to want to do it all yourself you will be surprised just how much work entertaining does take. People will not be offended if you ask for their help and get them to do things even if they are very small things. You want to be out enjoying the event and not stuck in the kitchen for the whole thing.

If you plan your event well then it will be a great success and all of your guests will have an amazing time from start to finish.

No matter what happens that night, you will know that you did the best job possible and most of the time your guests will not even realize that anything went wrong. As long as you remain calm then you can carry on and to be honest nothing will ruin the amazing night that you have planned. You will be the perfect hostess as long as you plan well and not be afraid to ask for help.
