This exhibition centre is among the biggest in the country and hosts some of the most prestigious events throughout the year. Shows such as Electronic India, Power International and the India Manufacturing Show are a few of the many events which are on the annual BIEC calendar. Located at on Tumkur Road, Dasanapura Hobli in Bangalore, the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre has been built to international standards of quality and the facilities at the BIEC are considered to be comparable with some of the best exhibition venues in the world. The facility spans over 34 acres, which includes a number of different amenities. Apart form the main complex, there is also a separate exhibition and conference complex, a training centre and a food court.

In terms of covered floor space, the BIEC offers over 35,000 square metres of covered exhibition space. This area is split into three distinct exhibition halls, which can be combined in case it is required. There is also an open display area at the hall, which spans 5000 square metres. Additionally, there are also individual, smaller meeting rooms and conference halls for smaller exhibitions. There is also a business centre and a VIP lounge located at the venue.

The Bangalore International Exhibition Centre is located a little away from the heart of the city, but nonetheless is easily accessed. There are many public transport options, which include buses and taxies that will transport passengers to this exhibition centre. In addition, visitors can also choose to drive down to the venue and will be able to find ample parking space.
