Guild Wars force Unleashed - Xbox 360 review

Guild Wars 2 has become perhaps one of the most successful sci-fi franchises ever

. And as video game franchises go, LucasArts seems to go in the right direction. Wars with the release of their latest Star: Force Unleashed, we finally get to taste what it's like living on the other side of existence - as a Sith Apprentice Darth Vader himself, no less.

Segments beginning of the game are not that great and you may be wondering why you are starting out as Darth Vader when it is a game focused on his students. Well, students must come from somewhere and this is why you play as Darth.

As you progress in the game you will immediately begin to enjoy using your Sith powers. Further progress on you in missions, more powerful your powers become. You will eventually be able to upgrade everything including force powers, abilities and even your light saber.

On a visual level the game looks very good - detail is exceptional and across different environments (everything from junkyard home world of 'Raxus Prime for lush foliage and exotic' Felucia ') are all presented excellent. The only thing that really has no appeal for me was the movement of various characters in cut-scenes. No at all look natural.

The game mechanics however are a different story. Movement in the game is fluid and fast-paced (very much like Prince of Persia or Assassins' Creed) and you'll find yourself hopping and jumping all over the country with ease. Coupled with a control system extremely well structured, anyone can easily master Power 'the Dark Side. "Basic movements such as jump (A button), Force Push (B button), Force Lightning (Y button), Attack (button X) and Albanian Force (right trigger) will have control of the game after about a half hour.

There is a difficulty level for everyone although I find that games look like a very nice action when the challenges are set slightly higher than your ability to dictate. Storyline in Guild Wars 2 Gold Force Unleashed is interesting and engaging. Character dialogue is also top-level Internal voiced by Battlestar Galactica's Sam Witwer, Juno Eclipse is voiced by Nathalie Cox, Culley Fredricksen is General Kota and Maris birds voiced by Adrienne Wilkinson.

If you have enjoyed the puzzle-like challenges in games like God of War and stretching combinations fighting Soul Calibur, you'll find Guild Wars: Force Unleashed is exactly your kind of game. With a storyline that is one of the best I've seen in a Guild Wars game, you'll be hard pressed to find another game that packs so much in content and different.
