The Millennium city- Gurgaon is all set to grow more systematically and spatially
with the new master plan to define the direction of development and expansions. The previous
Gurgaon master plan opened new avenues for growth and the new master blaster funnel is premeditated to give new dimensions to the progress of the city.
Gurgaon enjoys the top most position in the list of cities undergoing urbanization and expansion with the boundaries of the city reaching to its fringes and accepting a mushrooming population. Few years back the city was considered a suburb of the Delhi, but now it is one of the most booming destinations in terms of infrastructure, trade and commerce. Thanks to the Gurgaon master plans which were introduced with the core objective of systematic development of the metropolis.
The existing plan furnishes to the population of 22 lakh, whereas the New Gurgaon-Manesar Urban Complex Plan 2021 is designed keeping in mind the population of 37 lakh and includes Manesar, as well. The new Gurgaon Master plan has opened new gates for the prospective buyers. These interested investors can now dream of getting properties at affordable prices. With the inclusion of Manesar in the proposal the buyers will now get more options for investment which in turn will definitely bring some moderation to the prices of the Gurgaon Properties.
The other proposals made in the Gurgaon master plan are
Widening of existing roads and construction of roads linking Vasant Kunj, Mehrauli and Gurgaon and another road to connect Andheria Mor, Gurgaon, Faridabad and Delhi.
Allocation of more areas for residential commercial, SEZ and infrastructural development.
To link Dwarkas residential complex and Palam Vihar with Gurgaon with 75 meter stretch and to run an inter city parallel to National Highway 8 ending at toll plaza are also on the charts.
Extension of Delhi Metro to link Central Secretariat into South Delhi Andheria More, Qutab Minar to IFFCO chowk, south City -II to Manesar. Initializing another Metro line from Dwarka, Palam Vihar till Manesar.
Development of 58 more sectors in addition of existing 57 sectors. Various residential projects by renowned companies of the market to be promoted so that the buyers have more investment options.
The master plan has sufficiently equipped itself to face the forth coming problems owing to the predictable growth with their actual materialization and mounting urban population which is likely to exert great pressure on the existing resources.
