In this technology, there are three measurement properties that are used. The first one the frame size of which the measurement unit is recognized as pixels. Two dimensions of pixels are used there: the horizontal pixels and the vertical pixels. The second property is the frame rate, which its measurement unit is stated as video frames per second. And, the last property is the scanning system. The scanning system tells us how the video was scanned. To state the scanning system, the letter p or i is used. The letter p tells that the video was scanned using progressive scanning, while the letter i is used to mark that the video is scanned using interlaced scanning.
