HP thermal inkjet technology allows for the usage of dye based color ink (C, M, Y, G, PK) and pigment based matte black ink. Ink cartridges are available in standard yield 69 ml cartridges and high yield 130 ml cartridges.

The unit's hardware is backed by a standard one year limited warranty from HP but, considering the immense cost of the printer, buyers may consider one of the many one to three year warranty upgrade options available that include next business day response and even four hour on site response possibilities. Network installation can also be purchased directly from HP.

The dimensions of the 44 inch model are understandably large, with a footprint of 69.7 in. x 27.6 in. x 41.3 in. (W x D x H), and its weight is an extremely hefty 244 pounds. Thankfully, HP provides a stand with wheels, so mobility is possible.
