All in one HP Officejet Pro 8500 printer is useful to print copy, scan and fax. It uses thermal inkjet technology to provide good quality prints. It has wireless printing facility for convenient use from anywhere in the premises. It is designed for comfortable day to day use and is compact. Its dimension is 19.4 inches by 18.8 inches by 13 inches. It is easy to carry the printer around by hand as it weighs 28 pounds. It provides borderless photographic prints up to 8.5 inches by 11.7 inches size. The printer is suitable for most of the general printing requirements like documents, photographs, brochures, graphs, labels and envelopes of office and home.

It can take stocks such as plain paper, inkjet paper, envelopes, index cards, brochure paper, photographic papers and transparencies. The printer provides good quality black text prints up to 1200 x 1200 resolutions for black and color photo prints with resolution of up to 4800 by 1200 dpi for color. It prints at maximum speed of 15 pages per minute for black in laser like quality and up to 11 pages per minute for color in laser like quality. The print speed is good but not very fast. It can print up to 8.5 inches by 11.7 inches size documents. The printer has recommended volume of 250 pages to 1250 pages per month.

Black ink cartridge makes sharp and dark black text and graphic prints. Tri color cartridge HP 300XL made with special ink technology and HP Vivera inks make professional quality color prints. High capacity XL cartridge is suitable for prints of high volume.
