The fact that the HTC Desire and the HTC Desire HD are some of the best mobile phones in the HTC line-up is something that is undeniable. Now though, they have announced the launch of the new HTC Incredible S and it is something that will be changing the face of the HTC line-up from here on in.

The phone will be using a 4 inch display that is slightly bigger than the display of the HTC Desire, but it is now bigger than the display found in the HTC Desire HD. Hence, it will be able to sit just below the flagship model of the company without causing too much harm to the one below that as well. The 4 inch display will be taking advantage of the Super LCD capacitive screen that is present in the phone. This technology has been used by the mobile phone manufacturers very limitedly mainly due to the high costs that are involved in putting this technology into the screens of today. However, HTC has managed to keep the costs low without sacrificing on the feature list.

The HTC Incredible S will be a phone that can carry the best amount of features due to the presence of the large touch screen display. Even though the style of the phone looks very similar to the HTC Desire and the HTC Desire HD, it is something that you can look at it all day long without getting bored at it. It is also pretty functional too due to the usage of an 8 megapixel camera. This camera will be getting the best out of every single photographer, who manages to keep the hand on this phone. This is one of the brilliant features of the phone mainly due to the presence of options like the dual led Flash, Geotagging, image stabilisation and finally, the option to record videos in 720 p HD format. These are something that will be normally found in high end smartphones only, but their presence in the HTC Incredible S makes the new phone also feel one of the high-end phones.

It is a fact that this reiterated by the price of the phone. HTC has only recently revealed the launch of this phone, but already it is facing a huge demand. As a result of it, the price of this phone has also shot up even on the pre-order market. It is currently selling for around 500 on various contract options. This is definitely a small price to pay for a phone of so many features and this is a point that is reiterated by the huge interest that has been placed upon the phone. The HTC Incredible S will be having the 2.3 version of Android within it.
