You just need to learn some tricks naturally slimmer people do. Pick up some you love, insist, and you will become much slimmer and tone up.

1. Wake-up workout. When your eyes open, sit up slowly without using your hands. Make your legs straight out, lean forward when you sense a comfortable stretch in your hamstrings and your back. Hold, and try to use you abs, make yourself lower flat. Have a rest and repeat two more times. Strenghtens core. This can burn 10 calories.

2. Go for the grains. Not ready for Twigs and Rocks cereal? Sprinkle on a few oat bran. Gradually get to 3/4 cup of low-sugar whole-grain cereal with at least three grams of fiber per serving, and you can pass on that Danish. This will save 100 calories for you.

3. Add some protein. The more you eat earlier, the less you will eat as the later day. So after your cereal, you can also have a part-skim mozzarella cheese stick to keep you feeling full and avoiding the pre-lunch brownie. It will save 200 calories or more.


4. Balance booster. While you brush your teeth, try to alternate standing on a leg when you change mouth quadrants every 30 seconds. This balancing exercise will enhance your core muscles and may have benefits to your brain.

5. Try to be a ballerina. As your coffee tend to drip, stand sideways, put one hand on the counter, and life the outside leg straight out in front of you, keep it extended. Let your upper body straight, and hold for a few seconds and move it to the side; hold and extend it behind you. Do this five to ten times on each leg. Burn 10 calories.

6. Coffee saver for you. When you want to pour that 1/3 cup of half-and-half that has 105 calories into your mug, then replace it with same amount of 2% milk. Saves 60.

7. Better your bagel. You can try this: low-fat spreadable cheese like Laughing Cow Light on an English muffin. Saves 300.

8. Tone in traffic. From now on, you can make full use of the time spent bumper-to-bumper to enhance your buns of steel: Squeeze your egravere every time as you tap the car brake, holding this for 10 seconds. Do the squeeze 10 to 15 times a trip. Burns 10.
